We’re all looking to “change the world”…the funny thing is we don’t realize that every day our actions, big and small make a difference in our families’ lives, our schools, our jobs and our communities.
Kids are often told they are too young, that they must wait to “change the world.” But in Dani’s Dreams Outdoor Education programs, kids are changing the world every day – by learning, by growing and by discovering.
Now Dani’s Dreams is expanding in Southern Hancock County with the Dani’s Dreams Outdoor Education Trail at Sugar Creek Township Park and the ECOFEST Lessons created and taught by New Palestine High School teacher Brittany Bennett and her AP Environmental Science students.
Your support through donations and registrations for the 9th Annual Dani’s Dreams Walk/Run will have a lasting legacy in the New Palestine community with an interactive, family-friendly trail that will be a living, growing, learning lab that will allow New Palestine students to spread their wings through lessons on solar energy, animal habitats, farm to table and bugs and butterflies upclose.
High school students become leaders and mentors, elementary children become authors, and at all levels, young people create, explore and discover, connecting and becoming invested in their community.
To donate, become a trail sponsor, or volunteer, email director Donna Griffin at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 640-4430.
